With a total of fifteen tennis courts to choose from, The Club at Chesterfield offers one of the largest and most complete tennis facilities in the St. Louis area. If you are looking to refine your tennis skills or are just beginning to play, our Director of Tennis, Paul Tobin, and his staff of certified professionals are available.
Tennis Guides come out three times a year with schedules of the various clinics and leagues available for men, women, and children. Before you hit the courts, don't forget to visit our Pro Shop featuring men's and ladies' apparel and accessories.
Court Reservations
Members may make court reservations up to two weeks in advance. Just stop by the front desk or give us a call to reserve your court. The Club at Chesterfield also offers permanent court time beginning early September and running through May.
Tennis Lessons
Private and semi-private lessons are offered by appointment. These lessons are available year round. Please contact Paul Tobin at ext. 2334 for more information.
Tennis Clinics & Leagues

The Club at Chesterfield offers a variety of tennis clinics for men, women, and chilren of all
ages. For any questions regarding the clinics below, just give us a call.
Children
Quick Start - Tiny Tots - A fun introduction to tennis for children ages 5-6. Lots of movement with games to develop the skills necessary to play tennis with the Quick Start program.
Quick Start - Begginer - This clinic is for ages 7-10. These two eight week clinics are a fun introduction to tennis for children, taught with the Quick Start Method.
Quick Start - Advanced Beginner - This clinic is for children ages 7-12 who have graduated from the beginner clinic or who have played some tennis but need more work on the serve and sustaining a rally.
Intermediate Level 1 - This clinic is for the player who has the basic skills ofthe groud strokes and serve. This player is ready for spin, drills and competetive play.
Intermediate Level 2 - This clinic is for the player who has graduated from Level 1 or is ready for more advanced shots that are needed for Junior Inter-Club.
Saturday Intermediate Play Clinic
Junior Inter-Club - This clinic is for our top players who are interested in playing tournaments and high school tennis. On Wednesdays and Saturdays we will run drills for the entire 1.5 hours. On Saturdays from 1:30-3:00pm we will organize supervised matches. These matches, when played are not mandatory.
Men
Singles League - This league is for the 3.0 - 4.5 singles player. This is an easy way to have a weekly singles match through the indoor season. To play on Thursday, sign up in the singles book at the front desk by Wednesday at 6pm. Each player brings a new can of balls and the winner takes the new can.
Saturday Doubles - One hour of drills and instruction with the Pros, followed by one hour of doubles play. If you want to play better tennis, this clinic is for you.
Women
Beginner/Advanced Beginner - A clinic for the beginning player. An introduction to the basic grips, strokes, and strategy of tennis. This clinic will be taught by Tracy and Mike.
Intermediate-Advanced - This is an interclub-type clinic for 2.5 and above rated player. 45 minutes of intensive drills and 45 minutes of strategy will be offered every Monday. This clinic will be taught by Tracy and Mike.
Monday Ladies Day - This is a competitive ladies day for intermediate and advanced players. Players will change courts every week for fourteen weeks based on their scores. Please call Paul if you are interested in being a sub.
Tuesday Ladies Day - This ladies day is for the advanced beginner to intermediate player. Great opportunity for first time league players. Please call Paul if you are interested in being a sub.
Wednesday Ladies Day - This ladies day is for everyone. Please call Paul if you are interested in being a sub.
Wednesday Ladies Nght - This is a great way to get a weekly game for the 2.5-4.0 player. Paul will set up a weekly match for you.
Tennis Special Events
